How to build STAC from source
STACs (Siri’s Trick Attempt Counter) development started with a single developer in 2020, however the code has been open source since day 1. The STAC team encourages everyone to contribute to the project, be it with great ideas or bug reports at the Issues tab or via Pull Request.
To compile STAC from its source code or make changes to it, you should follow these steps:
0) Install git.
1) Clone the repository, e.g. with git clone https://github.com/SiriusGG/stac.git
.
2) Open the project directory in any IDE. I recommend using the free IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition.
3) If not all classes/packages are found, make sure that the src/main/java
directory is marked as sources root and that the libraries in the lib
directory are in the classpath.
